Hotel decor was nostalgic, but there were things that needed updating. The room key was on a ginormous heavy key ring and the hair dryer was too scary to use. The sheets were not very soft and there was a overall dingy feel. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good.

We stayed at this hotel before Christmas. Spend US$3,000 for rooms for three nights. Friendly and helpful staff at breakfast compared to the rude and arrogant front desk personnel. Prefers to loudly argue rather than explain why to charge extra Euro 80 for breakfast. Totally disappointed with their unprofessional behavior.

Great location for Christmas markets. Rooms have been renovated and very well done. Beds are super comfortable! Only complaint is the rooms are really small. We had a standard room and wanted a roll away bed for our grand daughter to stay a night but there was absolutely no room for it.

Unfortunately we never made it to the hotel because of the national strike going on in France. All trains were canceled to Strasbourg and all flights were booked. We contacted the hotel and asked if we could get a refund because we had paid in full and they refused. We had selected this hotel because we had stayed there two years ago but never again. When you fly in from another country and have no control of what’s politically happening it’s just terrible customer service and lack of empathy. So again I would never ever recommend MASION ROUGE HOTEL in Strasbourg France.

Very professional and friendly staff, excellent location, rooms were well kept and modern. The lights were confusing - a how-to guide in the room would have been useful.

Place was amazing, nearby everything you have to visit in Strasbourg.

The room was clean, quiet, and updated. The staff was helpful and courteous. It is very well located.

No hot shower in first room assigned. Some minor renovations on 5th floor. Location is superb!

Very nice 4 star hotel in the heart of the city. Luxurious rooms, clean, modern, and comfortable!
