No free water or coffee but there's a microwave and refrigerator for your use. So it's good for long term stay especially because hardly any good restaurant nearby. However, they sell inexpensive packed lunches on the 6th floor. Convenience store located next to the entrance. Small A/C won't cool during the afternoon.

No signal and no cable tv

We were looking for something cheap in that part of Manila and decided to go with MyTown Amsterdam. It certainly was affordable, which gave us enough savings for more shopping. Centrally located, close enough to everything with an Grab ride. Make sure your Grab driver knows it is the Amsterdam, as there are several different Mytown hotels within a couple of blocks. We had several drivers get confused and show up at the wrong place. It's tiny inside. Real tiny. Micro-sized bathroom/shower. This fat, American butt could hardly fit on the toilet. My wife and I bounced off from one another while in the room like two ping pong balls in a shot glass. Bed was comfortable with a nice mattress (but small). Room was clean and neat, and the staff was competent and friendly. For a ultra-cheap, no frills hotel tucked away in the back streets and not within walking distance of anything useful, consider it good. However, there is a nice convenience store and a nice tiny restaurant/laundry mat as part of the building. Easy to grab a quick snack coming or going. We would use it again, but it would be better if I dropped 20 pounds first.

The area is not so safe to walk at night but other then that everything near BGC and nice small room.
