THE MINUTEMAN INN

Unprofessional welcome. Can easily hear conversations out in the parking lot. Toilet not clean.

My wife and I were travelling with our one year old son, when the weather turned incredibly stormy, so we sought shelter for the night. The Minuteman Inn happened to be the closest hotel, at a good rate and with excellent reviews. Due to the virus' infection ability, we were concerned with choosing a hotel that took their cleaning seriously. We were very lucky and grateful to have chosen The Minuteman Inn. The owner was on the property, assisted in our check-in and was available during our stay for questions and concerns. The room we were first directed towards smelled of cigarette smoke. The owner immediately directed us to a new room and made sure it was a room that had not been checked into for 48 hours, to protect our health. The room was freshly renovated with new floors, fixtures, paint and bedding. For a hotel on the lower end of the monetary scale, it was exactly like staying at a new hotel. As other travelers may have noticed during the pandemic, ice machines are not in operation and most establishments are not serving breakfast. We did not consider this situation. After an inquiry with the owner, he came to our door, delivering a bag of ice and a $10 gift card to Dunkin'. My wife and I have stayed at 40 hotels in the last few years and until now, we have NEVER experienced an owner/employee who went above and beyond for the customer. We have discussed many times how customer service is dead. The Minuteman Inn has changed that opinion.

We stayed over a weekend, the rooms are nice & extremely clean. Everything brand new in the room. Convenient location, nights were very peaceful & we enjoyed our stay! Above all, most reasonable price.
