Clean, comfy, no-frills hotel!

I needed an affordable, clean, convenient location to stay in during UK move-in. This hotel was a perfect match! The check-in process was smooth and friendly, and I was happy to see that the front desk staff were secure behind a check-in window. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, clean linens and good TV. I missed having coffee in the lobby but completely understand why it wasn't available (same with breakfast). The location is near at least 4 options for quick meals so it didn't pose much of an issue. You may want to bring a hairdryer if you need one as my room didn't have one (not a problem in June but could be in the winter). Overall, I was pleased with my stay and would certainly stay here in the future.

Clean and Comfortable for a Quick Stay

I chose this hotel based on its good reviews. The first thing that worried me was that the lobby wasn’t opened, you had to go up to a window to check in which the clerk indicated was for their safety. When I entered my room, it was quite worn, but they had made efforts to have nice beds and bedding. The walls looked very old, as were all the fixture. There was a stale smell in the air in the room, almost like someone had smoked in there. When I woke up and showered I looked around for a blow dryer present in most hotel rooms nowadays, but there was none. I went down to the window and talked to the clerk and she told me they don’t have hairdryers because they get stolen. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. It was very quiet and adequate for a quick stay.

Our room was not ready at check in time. So Da it was supposed to be. Therefore awcwe did get to leave we were late for our event.

Disappointing

Our stay was not what we expected; the mattresses were very worn and out-dated, there was a crack in the shower wall, and the toilet was definitely to low for persons with bad knees. The outlet on the nightstand between the beds was useless and did not work, and we had to get down on hands and knees to reach the outlet on the wall to plug our medical devices in. The room looked much better in the photos! Needless to say we were not impressed and will most likely stay somewhere else the next time we visit Lexington.

The worst brand name hotel property in America

Unsafe, unclean, unacceptable. There isn't enough space to describe every way this place fell short. Not even the most basic amenities, regardless of price. Stay away - there's plenty of better -- and less expensive -- hotels in the area.

Lady at check in was great, but the room stunk, a roach and other bugs were crawling on the furniture, and the sheets were stained.

The doorknob inside my room came off on the first night and I had to finagle my way out to get to a meeting. They did fix it as soon as I told them though. The wall unit also only blew out cold air (even after I turned the temperature up to 70 and eventually 80). Besides that, it was a good stay.
