A Solid Value Overall

The hotel was convenient, its neighborhood was fine, and the room was comfy overall. An extra plus was the strong water pressure in the shower. If only they had a breakfast, I'd give them 5 stars. Still it was a good buy, especially at the last minute.

it was supposed to be a non smoking handicapped room. it was neither. i had to wash everything we wore and in our suitcase because of the awful smell. i needed a raised toilet and handicap shower access and it was not.

Plenty of “unusual activity” outside which made us uncomfortable. Well lit outside, but we were glad we booked for just one night, and took off first thing in the morning.

Clerks were both friendly and informative. Room very clean however, wish they would have had an elevator.

No elevator in Lexington

The showers were the best part of my stay. The night clerk was a bit scarey. I forgot to tell them that we had a 75 year old woman with us who needed an elevator. Walking up stairs made it difficult for her.

The doorhandle/lock on the door did not work and required a lot of effort to get the door unlocked and re-lock it. The bathtub was very dirty, the toilet did not flush correctly and the water would run occasionally. The beds are super small at only being full-size versus queen and not really suitable for two people. The people next-door were drinking outside and playing music decently loud which resulted in my dog barking due to the noise and us being unable to go out to enjoy yourself since we constantly got called to come back to care for our dog. Which normally is well behaved and quiet but kept barking due to hearing the people outside the door drinking and playing music. Definitely was not a fan of the stay but I have been there numerous times in the past and did not experience the same issues. It had been a couple years since I’ve been there so things definitely seem to have gone down hill.,

My room was nice and very clean/sanitized. Staff was nice. Love they allow dogs. The problem was the other patrons at this property. No one seemed to pick up their dog poop and Red Roof supplies poop bags. Sucks because that’ll ruin it for the good dog owners. We had to be very careful not to step in it, ended up walking off the property. Also, I had 3 young drunk women slamming their car doors and yelling from 2:30am-4:30am needless to say I didn’t sleep much. I did call the front desk and complained they did walk the property however the women took a break at that moment, figures. Not only that but their room wasn’t even by mine. Again not the fault of Red Roof, patrons were the issue.
