Over all stay Experience

Our stay was okay, what made it that was in our main room the smoke detector was taken off the wall and it looked tacky as far as appearance went why it was missing we have no idea. Before we entered the room it had a sticker tapped showing the room had been clean and we were the only one's entering since it had been clean, nice concept but when we went in we sanitized the room ourselves, from the couch, fridge, stove, bed, bathroom, everywhere I had to leave out because the the Lysol spray and how much my wife was putting it down. When we wipe areas there was dirt showing it hadn't been cleaned. Still seemed as if the basics had been done nothing extra. When it came to breakfast I had a misunderstanding I thought we would pick up a to go container and fix our own breakfast at the buffet area, instead it was a prepackage paper brown lunch bag style, with an fruit, small water bottle , breakfast bar and a few more items. There was nothing in there we could eat, because of our eating lifestyle, was really stunned to see that set up, didn't work for us and was disappointed with that, coffee was great, would have been nice if it was offered all day since breakfast set up wasn't available. All in All it was a okay stay, we still enjoyed ourselves for the reason why we wanted to book a out of town hotel stay.

Excellent room but no microwave.

Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis-Shady Grove is an excellent and clean hotel. I was disappointed that there was no microwave in my room.

Could’ve been better

Towels were supposed to be white and were dirty looking, came in a aroma of food being cooked was present with no restaurant around.Tv only had certain channels and has unit issues

Always a Pleasant Stay!!

It's always a pleasant stay, guest services are always great and attentive....however the hotel can use some updates.

Another great stay

Always enjoy staying at Hampton Inns. They are always a notch above the competition and the Shady Grove location was true to form. The room was clean and the staff from top to bottom went out of their way to make our stay great.
