Great stay

Bedding was stained. Suite was super basic. Tub leaked and shower was extremely slippery. Def not worth the price

Horrible, no t.v . Broken phone charging station. Rude front desk service.

Stay was satisfying

Convenient and felt safe (COVID-19). One receptionist was not polite but the others were very nice (there for three nights) and helpful; some not wearing masks at all times. Trash in hallways from rooms not being picked up as quick as desirable. Our room was very clean and lots of room to move around. Bathroom design was superior to the Hilton Garden Inn we are in now (Arlington, VA).

All was good with my stay the room was excellent everyone wore masks and practice social distance. The exercise room and pool and spa area was nice they just, had it down to a small amount of people at a time which was good. They had a pick up breakfast instead of the buffet type breakfast which according to the front desk I didn’t qualify because I had gotten a discount through hotels.com I have never heard of such a thing that if you get a discount you don’t get the free breakfast. That part wasn’t cool!That’s like saying if you get a discount then you don’t get a free amenities of the hotel who does that!

Upon arrival and departure, there was minimal contact with the front desk. However, when we required assistance they were more than helpful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, and there was a sticker on the door acting as a seal to ensure us that the room had not been entered prior to our arrival. Neutrogena hair and soap products we're provided, and they were wonderful. I always bring my own shampoo, conditioner and soap, however, the provided products were so nice I used them for our whole stay. I would stay at this hotel again, we had a wonderful stay, and we felt safe staying here during these uncertain times.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shelton, Ct. The microwave works but would not heat food plate even after using it for 4 mins. Electrical outlet in bathroom did not work at all. Pushed the reset button but it would not reset. I had to shave in the bedroom. Coffee maker lid was in open position. I did not trust using it.

Booked our stay for 5 nights between moving from one home to another. EVERYTHING about this stay was awful. The front desk help was almost nonexistent and did not honor the Hotels price so we paid more for our stay which we were not expecting. The girl seemed bothered by us being there. If it was one person, I could understand a bad day, but it was everyone! Room was shabby and dirty and the bed had a huge sink hole in the middle. The guest around us were smoking pot so heavily it permeated through the doors and the entire third floor reeked of pot and cigarette smoke. There was never anyone at the front desk and when I asked for a manager I was told no one was available because of COVID and I needed to contact corporate. I use to LOVE HGI hotels... this one should be avoided at all costs!! We checked out early and will not be back again.
