Excellent no frills hotel

A great no frills hotel near the airport. Large clean room, helpful staff and a free shuttle bus service to the airport every ten minutes.

Bedding

At first I thought there were no blankets on the bed because it looked like just sheets. But I informed that there were. And sure enough there were. It’s just a different way of making the bed.

Conflicting information provided in the 3 times I phoned from airport about the shuttle. Wrong information given about shuttle to the airport. Staff not friendly except for morning reception staff

Great location for airport. Otherwise just ok

Room fine but not special Great location for airport and for city centre train Very helpful to have airport shuttle Food / drink / vending both in hotel and within walking distance very limited Not pleased that hotel took a $40 refundable deposit in case of .. bet it takes time and perhaps chasing to get it back

Convenient Place to Stay

The Red Lion is about a 7 minute walk to the light rail. This was amazing to use for sight seeing! The hotel was clean & comfortable, but dated. The staff was friendly & helpful! The free airport shuttle is great too! The restaurant 13 COINS is just across the parking lot & it had great food & atmosphere!

Would not stay again

This property is functional, that's the best I can say about it. We were in town one night for a concert and chose this location by the airport as it is convenient to the Link (public transportation), and then easier to drive out of town the next morning. However, I would choose another property when booking next time. There are plenty around to select from. Our room seriously needed to be remodeled/updated/repaired. The carpet was STICKY. You read that correctly. It's beyond cleaning and needs to be ripped out and replaced. The wallpaper was pealing off the walls in the bathroom, and the door has paint chipping off the bottom since there was a chunk of it missing. Parking offered onsite is very limited. The most positive comment I can offer this location is that the front desk gal that checked us in was very pleasant and kind. They are fortunate to have her as a positive, because there is little else.

Our stay was pleasant. Our first room ac didn’t work and they promptly moved us across the hall to a room that the ac did work. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was fine. Both thrilled about the smell of smoke in our room. We are non smokers, so it’s off putting to be in a smoking room

No frills , clean

Quite dated, no water to flush, main lighting not working, one night stay for early flight out, shuttle every 10 min, convenient, went to raddison next door for dinner, reasonable price, quiet
