Hyatt Regency Calgary

Had a great time celebrating a quiet New Years. We stayed in a regular king room with city views on the 15th floor. Wifi was free and very good in the room. We parked in a secure underground lot for free, which was convenient, safe, and easy for direct access to the hotel lobby. They offered a New Years dinner and hot breakfast, which was a nice touch considering most restaurants at this time have limited hours etc (due to Covid and New Years). They also sold wine, beer, and cider for very reasonable prices in the lobby ($3/beer or cider; approx $18-$20 for a bottle of wine). Our TV in the room was of excellent size and there were a wide range of channels and options - better than most hotels. They also provided a dog bed and water dish for our furry friend - nice touch! Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the water from the sink faucet did not get hot.

Hotel is fantastic. Highly recommended! Comfortable, modern, saltwater pool kids loved, nice overnight for easy access to commitment next day in downtown Calgary. Everything in walking distance.

My fiancée and i had an incredible stay. every one was so lovely and the room was clean.

It was a great hotel. Not alot of guests because of Covid. The location was perfect, a great time to travel, the rates were likely less than half of normal.

Everything was great with the exception of double straight sheet duvet covers ... my personal preference are sleeved covers.

Great views and room! We really enjoyed our stay here!
