Motel 6 Carson, CA

Everything was great. I was there for work. The staff was wonderful, housekeeping was there on a daily. The premises was kept clean and had a goodnights sleep with no problem. I would come back and also recommend this place. It met all my needs. Right off the freeway and plenty of eateries near by and the mall for any shoppers across the street.

Just one roach.

So, my overall experience was really great. The area isnt really walkable, unless you consider waiting in a line of two thousand, walking. The staff are great. Super quick. No hassles. No deposit. I almost burned the place down with a corndog in the microwave for waaay too long, but they were cool about it, given the smoke smell. I extended three nights, as I got sort of stuck with a minor car problem and they allowed my mom to pay using Expedia app. I saw one cockroach on the wall, which I promptly killed, on my arrival. So, hopefullg my karma isn't off-balance any more than usual. Also. Poor cockroach! Anyway, while the roach murder didn't bode well for the rest of my trip, at the otherwise VERY CLEAN hotel, it turned out alright, because I saw no more bugs during my four night stay. And believe me, after I totally sanitized every inch of the room, which really was already clean, I spent a good deal of my time in there, staring in corners and at the floor. Oh, they have laundry facilities, too.

Not the best night

There was way to much noise at night, ice machine was way too loud for comfort, the AC made a lot of noise when it was on. Bed was uncomfortable

his trip was terrible

My stay was less than satisfactory. The room lacked basic items such as an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and did not have a rack to hang clothes. The exterior was not appealing at all. The rear building was lacking paint and the landscape was terrible. The “security” doors were unlocked at all times and the “non-smoking” rooms reeked of marajuana smells tha spilled out into the hallway. If that was their idea of “newly renovated” then they are sadly mistaken. This place needs a lot of major upgrades. I will never stay here again unless they rebuild the place

Go someplace else

I didn't think it could get worse but it did. The inside of the hotel and the rooms are okay. The clientele is questionable, the area is suspect and the grounds are absolutely disgusting. Cigarette butts area all over the place accompanied by all sorts of debris. Nobody used a garbage can, that's for sure. At 7pm one evening I asked the clerk for a 7:30 wake-up call. He looked me in the eye and asked "in 30 minutes?" None of the front desk staff lifts their head up to observe anything in the lobby. I only ever stayed here because I often travel with my dogs and there is no additional charge for pets. I will be staying elsewhere and paying extra...You get what you pay for.

Great in a pinch if you can get Early check in!

They did not have the following: Ice bucket, coffee maker, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, vending machines, extra blanket, or other typical amenities that you will find at other motels of the same price range. The outside of the buildings and areas surrounding the buildings were dirty and had lots of trash. Some shady characters hanging around as well. Not as nice as other Motel 6's I've stayed at before but the room was clean, the girl at the front desk was nice, and they let me check in right away. Which was what I needed and why I chose to stay there. Great in a pinch, if you can get the Early Check in!

Decent place

Hotel was located near a bunch of restaurants and by the mall and IKEA. The service at the front desk during checkout was pretty short sweet and to the point. The room was adequate and provided the lodging necessary for the duration of my stay in LA.
