Residence Inn by Marriott Baton Rouge Siegen Lane

The check in staff on my first day there was incredibly rude. I got there a little early before 3 and was told no rooms were available..about 2 minutes later another customer came in behind me and was checked into their room. When I finally got into my room it was not the room requested and when I tried to explain to front desk she, with an attitude and raised voice told me that was not her problem there was nothing she could do and I would have to rebook and repay for another room. I contacted hotels.com who tried to resolve the issue and they told there were no rooms available.. which obviously was a lie. My room still had dirty towels in the bathroom and blue stuff on the floor by the toilet and I had no face towels. I have stayed at this hotel before and NEVER experienced this before. I don’t think I will be staying again. I was embarrassed and shocked by what took place.

We arrived late around 11pm just find out that the room that we had was not available. At first I was kind of upset because we booked the bedroom suite and end up getting a Studio suite on the end. It was just what we needed. It had a full stove which I needed to cook all the food for our special day. From the plates to the wine glasses to the grill they had everything. Also the staff went over and beyond to accommodate us for the Inconvenience. We was right in the mist of everything in Baton Rouge. From the stores to the restaurants it was great. I will Definitely book again. I give a big shout out to Regina the manager and Tasha she was amazing and so understanding.

It was awful! Room was not clean.

Very unpleasant stay. The floor had water coming from the titles. You can tell the floors in the bathroom were not swept. I had to leave out to go to Walmart and cleaned the entire room as if it was my home. Hair in the tub. Seem as if someone could have cut themselves. Blood stains on the wall toilet and door. I was like you gotta be kidding me. I'll neber book there again

Old hotel that needs remodeling. We had roaches in present and a dingy smell. Staff were friendly and helpful but hotel needs work.

Convenient location. Friendly & helpful front desk staff. Needs an overall redo. Property is extremely dated & everything has a ‘damp’ feeling.
