Wonderful stay. Easy check in. During checkin the front desk person told us that the room we booked through hotels.com was a ‘French room’ and therefore we will get a small room and to upgrade we will have to pay 35 Francs. We had actually paid $232 per night and booked via hotels.com. May be it’s a good idea to book directly with the hotel. The French room was not bad so we didn’t opt for a change. The hotel is connected to the train station via funicular which was fantastic! Breakfast was included in the booking and it was simply amazing! Certainly not to be missed. Location - steps away from the lake, restaurants and shopping. Staff were extremely friendly, polite and courteous. The best stay ever! Thank you

Well-located in the middle of town, but still very quiet. We heard revelers at 2 AM one night but it was the Christmas celebration season with special events in the main piazza. I have stayed here more than once and am very particular about noise -- the windows are very good and it's remarkable how quiet it is for the location. The breakfast is impressive. The bar manager is excellent -- he is knowledgeable and friendly.

Since we drove with a rented car from Milano airport we used the hotel parking and it was a smart parking and for free! The location is very central to the city center and within walking distance you can reach all shopping and amusement spots.

Very nice and cozy hotel, small but very comfortable, everything was good, I would come back again.

It is very conveniently located to both the train station and town. Upon arriving at the the train station we walked down one flight of stairs and took the train down into a plaza in town that was right next to the hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of town so was very convenient to walk to lots of restaurants. Our room was clean and nice and the bathroom had a rain shower head which was nice. The breakfast was amazing!! Best breakfast of our entire trip. I would recommend this hotel

Easy trip down the funicular from the train station to the front door. 5 min walk to the water front. Great breakfast. Super clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very well located to explore the city centre. Staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. Complimentary chilled water, fruit and sweets was a nice touch. Room was comfortable. Decor throughout is traditional/classic
