Very relaxing stay with excellent service

The hotel is very friendly and provides excellent service, the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The location is very good and access is directly on to the beach, where there are water sports and a short stroll along the beach are other facilities such as restaurants/ bars. the hotel is also very centrally located in Holetown where there are shops and other facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean and really good food-fantastic quality for an all inclusive. The beach is stunning & great snorkelling with turtles directly in the bay in front of the hotel. The hobbie catamaran, paddle boards and kayaks were great fun. All staff we came across were incredibly friendly and the service in the restaurant in particular was exceptional. Location is fantastic- lovely walk along the coast either way to some fab bars and restaurants & Lime Grove shopping centre behind. There were 2 things that let this trip down sadly- the first being that we were promised free daily waterskiing and in fact were only offered 30 mins (between 2 people) on day 8 of our 10 day trip. The free waterskiing was the primary reason we booked this hotel, so we were incredibly disappointed that the boat was in for repairs and no replacement offered (apart from the 30 mins mentioned on one occasion). The second downside was the fact there is major construction work going on at the property next door to MangoBay (a hotel being demolished and completely rebuilt), and therefore the noise disturbance when sat on the beach was pretty awful (sounds like you are in a building site), which I appreciate the hotel cannot help but potential guests should be aware of this before booking. Our final observation is that the hotel could improve its eco-friendliness by stopping giving out water in plastic bottles (outside of meal times) and drinks in single use plastic cups.

Below standard hotel

Disappointing, below expectations, hotel was run down, needs renovations, but the food and drink was the most disappointing way below average and not what you’d expect from a Barbados resort, it’s a small resort therefore limited menu, but when starter options are just salad and mains burger or hot dog, not what you’d expect! Most of the food was bland and they Alternate each day with a buffet which was just dreadful and breakfast was only buffet and mainly awful with the odd nice omelette depending on who cooked it! Raw poached eggs and burnt overcooked sunny side up eggs were not the best start to a day! Cocktails were pretty awful, limited choice and all had triple sec which was disgusting, served from cheap throw away plastic cups. Service was hit and miss, service with a smile was difficult most days! Reception staff were particularly unhelpful, had to have separate rooms first night as our family room was not ready for us and no chance of a late checkout or use of a room, but they didn’t even check! However location was amazing, the sun shone for us and had a beautiful beach, quiet location, always a sunbed available whenever you wanted one, always easy to get a drink from the bar, but no sun bed service!! free water sports, speed boat ride and catamaran were all very good and fantastic remote marine for snorkelling just 5 mins walk Wouldn’t stay there again and wouldn’t recommend, sorry but food and drink would need a significant improvement

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and attentie. The food was tasty. The outdoor seating by the sea was romantic in the evening. Will definitively stay again!

Amazing beach with terrific snorkelling right in front of the resort. Good food, though their food allergy handling could use some work. Nice rooms with spacious balconies, good air conditioning. The band was quite loud each night for those who wanted to go to bed before 11pm (wow I sound ancient... but after a day of snorkelling I'm wiped and go to bed early). Ashley, Peter, Pedro, and Coefei were all standout employees who made our stay better.

I love their drinks at the resort. All the bartenders were great ! Foods are not ethnic authentic at all. I was hoping for some real bajan foods and flavors. Would only stay because of the great drinks . No night life at all.

Good Hotel

This is a really nice hotel, situated well in Holetown. The staff are friendly and efficient. The beach is great. The rooms are slightly dated, but comfortable. The food is just okay which can often be the case with all inclusives

Beautiful Location

Amazing location but a few improvers 1. Most of the staff are Amazing and will go out of their way for you to do. A couple are a little grumpy 2. Beach and location in Holetown is beautiful 3. Food was good and chefs would also make more on demand 4. Entertainment every night- some a lot better than others 5. Why oh why do they make you wear long trousers to dinner- move with the times. If I can eat at the Cliff and lone star in smart shorts, then I can certainly eat at Mango bay. That was one of the biggest negatives as it’s hot and uncomfortable at dinner time for me
