Would stay again.

Hotel was very nice. The staff were more than helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and also the wine. I would stay here again for sure. They provide a free shuttle bus into town and to/from the airport. They also took care of booking me a hire car which was very cheap. The view is great and the pool is fantastic. Its a nice place to relax. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they were clean. No iron in room. Ordering food and drink in Restaurant/bar can be a bit slow. Slower than what i am accustomed to. So you do need to be patient and not in a hurry.

Fantastic swimming pool and view, but pool was very cold and restrictive for use. Service was mixed particularly at dinner. Food was ok but overpriced.

Great hotel, great staff with a really nice view. Wifi was disappointing as well as lack of minibar. All good otherwise.

dated rooms

Hotel pretends to be 4*, standard rooms are however 2*, pool 4* so maybe average can climb up to 3*. Rooms are waiting to be updated, and for 2 decades now. Airport shuttle is most useful as a taxi costs 25-30e, however take into account that the shuttle runs only 9AM-5PM.

Mercure Reunion - OK - Strange Room Allocation

I booked a last minute discounted room for a one night visit. Hotel all ok and saff helpful. Why then - given the hotel was less than 50% full to stick me in a back room facing the carpark. I was not expecting a fantastic room and it was discounted however it does not nake me wish to return to a Mercure? It would not have been difficult to choose a nicer room - many many available and make a fuss of it to seek return custom. What did they have to lose? Instead its put me off Mercure Chain

Convenient hotel with great view and good service

We only stayed one night to get to the airport early the next morning, without too much traffic. The location is great with a view over the city to the distant sea, but there are no restaurants or shops around. So we had dinner at the hotel, next to the pool area, which was okay, nothing too exciting. We had a premium room on the top floor with a great view, massive bathroom (shower over bath) and the room was of a reasonable size, too. Would stay there again.

Great pool!

Awesome view from the pool! Not a great local area as a bit of a drive to hotels and cafés but good Mercure type hotel. Room smelled a little musty so I aired it out when I got there. Staff very friendly and meets the expectations for a Mercure level hotel.
