Pelican Grand Beach Resort - A Noble House Resort

I am a consultant for a REIT. The place is a good hotel and not really a resort. One should pay extra and get a room with an ocean view. The sunrise is beautiful. If you pick a full moon night, it is a bonus. Best advantage of this compared to other hotels off A1A road is, it is on beach. Many others, one has to cross the road to get to the beach. The staff are the friendliest that you would find. Even if you pay $33 a night for car valet parking, you should have one. The place has 1 restaurant, Oceans 2000 and I would say that it is very OK and serves mostly American food and prices are exorbitant. You definitely want to bring your own water as a 750 ML water bottle costs $6.50. The prices in the bar are reasonable if you go during happy hour, but hey, why not get BYOB. While there, definitely go out and eat at Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine on Oakland park Blvd and at El Camino on Las Olas Blvd. The hotel could be a little cleaner, there were cobwebs in the corridors, but not a big deal in Florida! The rooms are super huge and beds are very comfortable. You have a Microwave and a small fridge (mini bar). I would recommend the hotel to replace all toilets, as they repeatedly get stuck. But the issues were taken care pronto. Sitting and relaxing on the beach was an awesome experience. Definitely tip the beach staff, they do great work. All in all I would give this place 4/5 stars.

Check in was terrible! Their machine was broken and then when they did try the transaction they blocked my card. Room was not ready and told me they would call me when it was ready. I never received a call

Right on the beach, great service, hotel gym needs updating but overall a great experience.

Good stay, not much around hotel in walking distance but hotel was lovely.
