The reviews cannot be correct. Miserable

The service was super bad. Ended with two guys running at me at the parking garage, one threw himself at my car, after I checked out. Turned out the free parking wasn't free. Never told me not even while checking out. Ac was broken, fan was broken, they lie. They say it's not broken. I repaired it myself, took hours. The whole stay felt like the parking garage scene.

If you want to sleep, stay elsewhere

I had high hopes for this hotel because it is fairly new and in a central part of town. The bed is comfortable and the internet is good. Unfortunately, from the first time I arrived, the hotel failed at the most basic element - providing a space for getting a restful sleep. There is a club across the street that is incredibly load and though the hotel is not responsible for this, having better windows to block out noise and sympathetic staff who would at least make an attempt to ask them to turn down the music would have been helpful. Then, after little sleep the first night, there was construction nearly all day above my room which the hotel indicated was from next door so I couldn't even take a nap during the day. Considering it sounded like they were drilling and hammering in my room, it doesn't seem likely it was in another building. Finally, my last night, the hotel itself had a party with music so loud that it was vibrating the floor in my room. The staff were unsympathetic to how loud it was and said there was nothing they could do about it. They are even unwilling to give me a late check out so I could possibly sleep in. Considering I paid for the the better room with the terrace, I would would have expected far more for my money and at least one good night of sleep. There are much better options in Cape Town for this price.

I was upgraded to a terrace room, which was excellent, Very clean room, very helpful staff. Hotel is in a great, safe location, close to bars and restaurants. The food in the hotel is very nice.

Great inner city stay

The location and room size is absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Luxury room (nice and quiet too)

Grest location, great people

Great location, will stay again

Great location with clean rooms and friendly staff. Service in the restaurant was super slow - but hey that’s Cape Town. Room was super small but goes with the affordable price. I was traveling solo and it was perfect for my needs… will stay again 👍

Wonderful Cape Town stay

We had a great stay with KSH. The front desk staff were very welcoming, remembering us and saying hello by name each time we walked by. They afforded us an early check-in. The property was great, with good views of both Table Mountain and Lion's Head. The location was really good, within walking distance of many restaurants and bars on Kloof Street and Long Street. Parking was convenient after you learned the way in (on the back road).
