Mercure Resort Sanur - CHSE Certified

Staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help, and always with a smile. We are return visitors many times to this hotel. The location is perfect, set on a lovely beach. Best suited to couples looking for a relaxing holiday.

Great location, but resort tired

Great beachfront location, quiet and relaxing Resort needs some work, bathrooms in some rooms very tired, and grounds need improvement. Although we paid for medium class room, lower standard rooms had been renovated, so you don’t always get what you paid for 🤔

Wonderful stay

The hotel grounds were gorgeous and my parents loved that there were descriptions of the birds and trees in the gardens. Staff all so helpful and sweet and facilities great. Didn’t love the pools as they were really warm and had a hell of a lot of chlorine in them, which made it heavy to swim in. Having said that, the beach is perfect for swimming so no need for the pool really.

The hotel entrance and lobby were very nice. However, our room was not so great. The furniture was old and scared and the bathroom, though large, was very antiquated. There is s nice beach and pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Superb landscaping like a rainforest

Very nice hotel with amazing landscaping. Friendly staff. Nice pools. Don't forget there is a free shuttle bus to a local grocery store and shopping complex.

Property on the beach.The Surf Shack staff were fantastic Putu was the best sup instructor he had us up and paddling and catching waves we had the best time .The breakfast dinning room needs a good clean and refurbishment place matts need to be replaced,the coffee machines never worked properly.There was a good selection of food and the egg cooks were the best ,staff were visibly under pressure.The hotel over all needs a refurbishment it's just worth the money I paid very disappointing. Would not go back again.

Great location but very tired and worn down hotel. Sheets, towels and bed linen all threadbare. Furniture scuffed, chipped and worn. Safe in room was broken. Gardens lovely but paths need sweeping more regularly. Pool needs a clean and has chipped tiles. Sunlounges needed dusting and cleaning. Needs an overall facelift or renovation. Staff spoke very little to me the entire time of my visit. No bar service by pool. Staff ignored me at breakfast. Disappointed.

Property is getting tired but to offset this they have wonderful gardens and friendly staff. The setup with many units amongst the gardens gives you quietness and a sense of space.
