Baymont by Wyndham Fort Myers Airport

Needs some TLC

The internet is spotty, at best, and was not working at all when I arrived. The hotel is in need of some renovations, as the sheetrock is peeling away, the thermostat was falling off, and the paint was peeling in many areas. Beds were OK.

Stayed at Baymont before, but very sour taste now

10/10 will never stay here again. Sheets had stains and were worn so thin they had sheer spots all over. There was a dirty bandaid on the bed skirt, and the carpet felt like it hadn’t been vacuumed in at least a week. Multiple dogs barking throughout the night. The pillows while comfortable are pillow “nuggets.” Check in was less than ideal. Honestly not worth the $100, but to each their own. The real redeeming quality was the grab and go breakfast but only because it was very nostalgic (go-gurt, juice box, etc.).

Terrible Customer Service

I contacted this place the morning of my check in at 6:00 Am when I woke up with covid symptoms. I was told it was too late for a refund or any type of compensation for a future visit. I would think with covid I would be encouraged to stay home!

Great stay, would go back

The day was great, CDC measures were being followed. The room was clean as well as the rest of the hotel. The hotel even offered grab and go breakfast bags since they do not have a breakfast buffet any longer. Overall, I have no complaints or suggestions, it was truly a great stay and the hotel was great following all the guidelines.

Overnight airport stay

Booked this hotel because it had an airport shuttle. It only operates from 10 til 6, we found out when we called at 8. It is in need of updating. 2 bath towels, no hand towels. Stain on the comforter. Not impressed.

No early shuttle

This was a one-night stay before I had to be at the airport to travel home. I stayed here mainly because they had a shuttle to the airport. My flight left at 10:05 the next morning, and when I inquired about it, the front desk clerk told me the shuttle doesn't run that early. Why have a shuttle if you don't offer it early enough for people to get to the airport? I also was less than impressed with the small, square pillows. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

Smelled

Our room smelled terrible. Across the hallway a room door was opend for what seemed to be cleaning a plumbing issue. The room seemed to be worn down.

Gym

Your workout area was open but most of the equipment was missing. Either have everything working or shut it down.

The overall stay is very good however this is the first time ever I was asked to provide a copy of my service dog paper work and I have been traveling a lot for several years.

Ok place

Was a little disappointed. Booked this place to use the jacuzzi and it was broke. Heard the vending machine next door all night and the t.v. was pretty small. Nice size room and comfy bed.
