Great service - clean stay

We spent three nights visiting my Grandma for her birthday. We had reservations under my name and my sisters. They were very accommodating and allowed us to carry the same room without having to move our luggage each night and check out/in. The staff was all very friendly and facilities were clean. The breakfast staff were very hospitable as well.

People/employees smoking outside of main entrance was annoying. How about a designated smoking area away from guest areas?

After driving 10 hours to get to the Hampton inn we check in and the check in gentleman was very friendly and helpful. After retiring to our room and settling in for a good night sleep I received a call in the middle of the night { 1;50 AM) from the new night time Front desk person telling me that my credit card was rejected from Orbitz. I told him that he had woke me up and that this would have to wait until morning. Upon meeting with him in the morning and showing him my payment records he told me that I was responsible for making payment to him. I told him that my credit card already had the charge on it. But he proceeded to still insist I make the payment. I replied that i wanted to talk to the manger. He informed me that the manager would not be in until 8:00 am and that I would have to wait. I told him that I wanted to talk with the manger by phone. He called her and told her that he had an Outraged gust and still did not let me talk to her. When he described me that way I objected to him saying that. My wife and I waited until she came in and at that time she informed me that there was no problem with my credit card billing. By the time the manger came in he had gone home before she arrived. I proceeded to explain to her what had happen she apologized but seemed to fluff it off.

This property is okay for what it is. Off the interstate hotel. However I found their drapes a little creepy. They first placed me on the ground floor with only shears over part of the windows so anyone parking their car or walking by could see in your room. They was no way to fix it differently. I asked to be moved to a second floor or above room and it was the same window treatment but at least you couldn’t see in.

We were passing through and it was getting late. It can be stressful looking for a hotel last minute. We have very young children and were pleased with our stay! It was very clean and comfortable. And since there were other reputable hotels on each side, it was a legit spot. The staff was super friendly and everyone seemed to acknowledge and greet us. The breakfast was good as well. I was expecting muffins and orange juice.. which they had.. but they also had biscuits, eggs, waffles, oatmeal and many other options. My husband was even able to take care of a few work calls in the lobby ( on internet) before we continued on our way. So yes, I would recommend staying here;).

Great travel stop for sleep

Clean & comfortable Perfect spot to stay while traveling. There is some construction on main road before arriving at hotel. But, we heard no traffic noise in room. Would stay here again!
