The Club Lounge is worth a stay

Wow. Seriously, one of the most value hotels you can get. I got the Mayfair Suite for two nights with Club Lounge access. Meals were all free, and there was an included high tea. Every time I went in, anyone who I had interacted with addressed me by name. Service was top notch. The Club Lounge access is absolutely worth the extra cost. The room itself was pristine, though since my room was on the 6th floor, it didn’t have the best view. The bathroom was incredibly spacious, and provided amenities made it so I was never missing anything. Housekeeping was also top notch — anytime I wanted to come back to my room to relax, it had been cleaned, with the bed made, but I never actually saw housekeeping. It was magical. Incredible detail to service. Felt pampered. Will be staying again next time I visit.

I travel quite often and I was amazed by the excellent service provided by the whole team at the Ritz. Special Kudos to Wim at Reception, Jaya at Lobo, Reza and Aris (Sous Chef) at the Club Lounge. The staff were all very attentive and polite, making our stay all the more enjoyable. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The rooms were large and generally clean. The beds were big and comfortable and the toilet had 2 sinks which was a plus. We were travelling during Chinese New Year so the small plate of tangerines and chocolates was appreciated. We tried the breakfast at Asia Restaurant and the spread was huge. The only thing that requires a little more attention is the house keeping team. There was only one bath robe for my husband and I to share and it was removed the next day by housekeeping This was the same with the tissue box which they did not replenish even though there were only 2 sheets left in the box. With regard to the facilities in the hotel - the gym was very well maintained and the fitness machines were plentiful and modern. The spa facilities on the other hand were dated and basic. The hotel does provide a complimentary car service to nearby malls within a 5 minute distance which we liked a lot. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Worthy of the 5 star status. Exceeded our expectations. Room: Spacious, well furnished, great city view, comfortable large beds (we had a double twin) all amenities like hair dryer iron & ironing board etc. Decent quality shampoo & shower gel. Towels were fluffy and smelled good. Breakfast buffet: Best breakfast buffet I have experienced, definitely worth the price, at least if you're hungry! Wide variety of quality food, both cold and hot. Omelettes made to order. Coffees teas and delicious smoothies can all be ordered from the table for free. Staff are very helpful. Lobo restaurant: The evening restaurant is also recommended, delicious high quality food at a reasonable price. The Onsen Uovo soup is my favourite, you'd pay twice as much for a starter of that quality in London. Worth a visit if you're not too full from the breakfast buffet! Gym: Much bigger and better stocked than I expected. Lots of equipment that you would find at a regular gym including bosu ball, exercise balls, aerobic steps. Not too busy. Includes a couple of studios with plenty of mirrors to check form. Towels and bottled water are already placed in treadmill. Poolside: Quiet and spacious pool area. No rush to reserve places with towels! Toha in particular was a very helpful and friendly member of staff, and even gave us free ginger tea and orange slices whilst we sat by the pool, which was fantastic. great place to relax for the afternoon. I luckily got a special rate, which was cheaper than my usual accommodations. The entrance is hard to reach on foot, the room was spacious, but nothing special and a bit old style, similar to Marriott's. Long checkin process. Second service is annoying, had a nap and didn't hear the door bell, so they just entered the room. Minibar totally overpriced. Was a nice trial, but my first and last stay here.
