Fine.

The property is a little dated, but comfortable. There is nothing to complain about the hotel. Location is fine. View from the hotel is great even though not the most close to the sea. It could do with a little better resturant. But an OK experience over all. Just a tad bit too pricy for what it is. Staff were nice.

On arrival we upgraded to an Executive room and it was fantastic. The additional benefits including lounge access meant we didn't really feel like leaving the hotel and couldn't have asked for more. Unfortunately the trip was ruined due to hotel giving miss information on Covid Testing. We were informed test results take 24 hours to arrive, we were told by staff that the time they had given us at 10am (29 hours prior to departure was sufficient time) and were told not to worry. I was aware of a rapid testing center in Naples which provides results in 3 hours but decided against it because of trust in the staff and their reassurance it would arrive. Fast forward 24 hours and we don't have our test result and we need to go to the airport. We were then informed that even though they say 24 hours the actual time can take up to 36 hours, given you will receive your result by 7pm the following day. At this point we had to change our flight and book another night but decided we would prefer traveling to Rome than spending an extra few nights at the hotel as there were only 2 flights per week. Once we received the test later on it was a simple word document with no official stamp that would not be accepted for any international flight. Thankfully we had decided to take a test at Naples airport when we lost faith in the first and it was perfect. Apart from the covid test which had a negative impact on my staff until that point the hotel was great.

Good

The hotel itself was modern and clean, just 10 min walk into Sorrento center - near many restaurants and shops. The pool and bar service was friendly and accommodating. No free wifi, all other hotels have free wifi.

Newly remodeled rooms with great view over Sorrento 5 minutes walk to city center overall a great hotel to stay and enjoy the vacation very close to great restaurants and shopping
