Nightmare

The room smelled like a cellar or basement very musty.. we were going to Foxwoods I had to leave and pick up tickets we didn’t return until 2 am. We were tired ready for bed when my friend noticed a bug on her bed. We went through all the sheets in the two beds and found another. I couldn’t tell any one everything was closed. She was not going yo sleep on the bed and I didn’t want to drive home . She slept in the car I slept with one eye open. Also when we came back @ 2am there was no parking spaces we gad to block a walk way . The place was disgusting it was so dirty. Vents haven’t been vacuumed in years. Not worth 273.00 a night I can go to motel 6 and got a better place with more than half the price. Hotels.com should check out these places before they advertise.

our stay

We were very happy to book at last minute and bring the dog. Our dog sitter was on vacation so our dog was with us. We come to RI occasionally to visit and will remember this motel. Great location, friendly people, easy and private.

Good but not the best

Room was very clean and nice however Wi-Fi wasn’t strong enough for us to connect to and there was hardly any service for us being Verizon users. AC pulled in outside air making the room feel very damp. Overall wasn’t a bad stay and room was very clean.

Still needs work

We were pleased with the outdoor appearance. Very clean, welcoming, well lit. The staff was nice. Complimentary champagne and the limo ride to the casino were added bonuses. I was disappointed that Hotels.com stated we’d have a smoking room. Our room did not have a no-smoking sign, but when we asked for an ash tray, we were made aware the room was in fact non smoking. The bath tub was not dirty, but it was certainly well used and not renovated like the outside. Paint was chipping in our tub, one of the shower heads didn’t work properly. The towels looked clean but smelled of maple syrup when I dried off with them. The door to the toilet kept getting stuck and made a loud awful sound when you tried to close it. The cable did not work. Had to log into my own Netflix account to be able to watch anything. Overall, it was a safe place to sleep, but I don’t think I’d pay as much as I did to stay here again. Definitely was not worth the money until they at least upgrade the tubs.

Great place to stay.

The staff, especially the manager was super friendly, and helpful and made our stay great. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Our room was near the driveway, but I didn't hear the cars driving by or people out talking late at night. The firepit near the lobby was a nice touch. Continental breakfast was adequate and the usual.

Hotel nightmare

My family and I stayed two nights in two rooms. The rooms were clean at first glance but the tub was gross. The second night a large picture that was above my two daughters bed fell off the wall while they were sleeping and almost hit them. When I went to the office the young man said " well at least it didn't hit anyone" and walked away.i will never stay here again.
