The Royal Sands All Inclusive Resort & Spa

Lovely resort, great value, great food, a lot of food options, gorgeous beach! They do need more waiters on the beach and in sushi restaurant they are overwhelmed! Would return!

We had a wonderful time. The weather could’ve been better but the Royal Sands staff is superb. Next year coming back for two weeks!

My husband and I booked another accommodation that turned out to be a disaster. We quickly canceled and scrounged around to find a new place to stay. We booked last minute with Royal Sands, and they saved our day by allowing us to check in early!!! This property is incredible! Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool is sparkling, food is tasty, and the views are amazing! We’ll never stay anywhere else in Cancun!

It was our second time staying at the Royal Sands and we love it...again! The staff is excellent, accommodating, and kind. We absolutely love Fernando Miam at La Veranda. He made our experience that much better, a true pleasure to deal with.

Make sure you ask question to find out everything because when you use one of their resorts you have access to all four resorts in Cancun and Playa del Carmen this was the best part. Look for Arturo in the palapa at sands and Marion in the restaurant the best servers. Ask for Lyn in the reception to be your concierge she gives the best information. Very nice for sure coming back.

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely awful. We were told that if we booked this hotel we could have friends come and visit and buy a day pass. Well they treated our friends with total disrespect. The check in process for us and them were both Nightmares and took over an hour each. No one on the property had correct information about anything. Shuttle times, food times, location of things, etc. The day we checked out we were told we could continue to use the all inclusive amenities till 5pm. We ordered food before leaving at 4pm. Because it took an hr and half to make they charged us $80 for it being past 5. When I explained it was 4pm they then tried to tell me we ordered from a room service menu? At the restaurant? Why would they even give us that menu knowing we weren’t in our rooms??? I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone. Absolute Terrible customer service! No one knows what they are doing, and they will basically just lie to your face to get you into doing a timeshare meeting.

Our VIP benefit was not having to move rooms during our 10 days. We didn’t care about that, not much of a benefit.

The beach was beautiful, the resort was well maintained and the food choices were great. Being able to eat at and visit the other Royal Resorts was awesome.
