Sofitel London St James

My favourite hotel in London, the staff is absolute perfection. The room is perfect, the customer service is wonderful and it’s our go to now. I travel all over the world and I have not had a better experience than the Sofitel at Saint James place in London.

Perfect in every way

My poor review is due to the fact that I called the hotel over a month ago to cancel our stay due to the pandemic and was told the best the hotel could do was to offer us a free stay when we return. This is not the attitude I experienced with the other 5 hotels we had booked for this month long trip. All the other hotels refunded our stay and welcomed us back next time we travel. I expected the same treatment from such a quality hotel chain given the circumstances. We have stayed with you in the past but have a different opinion due to this situation.

Excellent hotel in all regards. A bit pricy but high quality.

Sink drain did not work so once water was in the basin you couldn't get it out. Shower also spilled onto the floor which was very slippery. Room was very comfortable and nicely furnished.

Wonderful hotel fully renovated, my only comment they have the environment policy for sheets and towels but they keep putting amenities in small plastic bottles, making more and more plastic waste.

Excellent location in the heart of London entertainment and fine dining

Most incredible service. Staff are so professional and very accommodating. When I raised an issue about my room, they offered to change as soon as one became available. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.
