Comfortable and clean hotel. Excellent location to Central Park

The star rating and price of this hotel do not match the service, look, and condition of the hotel. Other than the bizarre level the hotel goes to in order to comply with their “we do not supply guests with food or beverage”, which includes no glasses in the rooms, their is nothing really wrong with the hotel. It is clean and in a good location. The issue I have is that there is nothing special at all about this hotel. It’s JUST OK, which would be fine if it did not cost $600 a night and be rated at 4.5 stars. I would not stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room itself was not good at all. I could not get the heat to come on and the fan blew cool air the entire time. So cool I was to cold to take a shower, and did not sleep well because of the heat issue , also the room was facing the street where they were working on the building with an elavator right out side our window until 10 pm and beginning work at 9 am. Not worth the $343. At all. And when I told the check out staff they did not take any $ off my stay

The location of the hotel was perfect for everything we wanted to do. However, upon arrival to our room, our bathroom had not been properly cleaned and there was dirty linens and hair on the toilet seat. It took 4 phone calls, an in-person stop to the front desk and over an hour for someone to clean the bathroom. The windows are frosted and the blinds are shut so there is no natural light whatsoever in the room. We were told this was because of the construction around the building that is taking place. Had I known this upon booking, I never would have stayed here. The lobby is great, the restaurant and bar next door are great, but overall I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel, but there is a fair amount of construction at the property; our room had a window which was nearly opaque (if you opened up the window, it looked on to construction). The room was clean, but washroom smelled like it needed to be thoroughly cleaned (almost a little mouldy). Not sure when turndown service takes place, but also didn’t seem to happen while we were staying there. It is better than some of the other hotels I’ve stayed at, but still I’d consider this to be a bit of a disappointment.
