Super 8 by Wyndham Williamsburg/Historic Area

Room furniture was old and mix matched. The 1st room was dirty.

It was great for the money. Rooms were big and clean. Staff was nice. Continental breakfast was just ok. I wasn't there for extra amenities

Very pleasant staff especially front desk. Need to buy new bed covers and pillows. Stained or burn holes. Styrofoam cups not wrapped.

We checked in but did not stay. The moment we pulled up I did not feel comfortable. We checked in and as soon as we opened the roo door I knew it was time to go. The room smelled HORRIBLE! The bottom of the fridge was rusted and there was hair on the bathroom walls. The front desk clerk asked if we wanted another room but we declined. They did refund our money.

The bathroom was not cleaned. Hair in the tub and the toilet didn't flush completely.

One of the worst nights sleep I've ever had. Felt every spring in the super old mattress. Was suppose to be a non smoking room but it reeked of cigarettes. Was going to try to relax in the tub but it was filthy. Wouldnt recommend.

Rented three rooms, 2 king rooms and 1 with 2 doubles. 2/3 rooms were OK. One room (ours) smelled so bad of smoke I had to get air freshener from my car and spray it several times just to be able to stay in it. Man working said he could not change the room. We had our dog with us so we just toughed it out for 1 night. The place is very dated and mostly clean. Our coffee pot did not work and the replacement did not work. We just decided not to bother. Breakfast was choice of 2 cereals, bread for toast and defrosted frozen waffles to toast. McDonalds across the street would have been a better alternative. There was garbage all over the grass area where I walked my dog. It was what it was, a cheap hotel room. Next visit (we go several times a year), we will not be staying here.

The lady at the front desk had a huge attitude problem. The bedsheets had holes in them. There was soap scum on the titles in the bathroom. Other than that, it was okay for the price.

Convenient location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms could use bit of an upgrade.

We got a really great deal through hotels.com. My room was clean. Refrigerator was very old/rusty but served it purpose. Water was hot. My mother’s room had a mildew odor but was clean. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Coffee and breakfast was good. Overall I feel we got a very good deal. I would definitely go back.
