Customer service above and beyond!

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would! It's in an excellent location right in the middle of Santana Row, so there are shops and restaurants to walk to. The hotel is so lovely. We drove to SF for the day to do some sightseeing and our car was broken into and had all the windows smashed. Once we returned to the hotel, with a replacement rental car, we were mentioning to our waiter what happened and a manager came out to comp our meal because he felt bad for what happened. Such incredible customer service. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Okay

The walls are things so are the doors. We can hear the next door talking sometimes, and every morning can hear people talking in the hall way. The place May bit be kid friendly as the bars in the hotel are pretty busy at night, the fact that you have to take an elevator to the lobby sharing with bar-goers and take a second elevator to the room is kind of annoying The location of the hotel is great if you want to visit santana row. But that's all.

Pretty good hotel, but experience was just okay.

Planned a little night on Santana Row from the City (SF) as I had the Santana Row Half Marathon and location of finish as outside the hotel door. Check in was easy and nicely early (3pm....most hotels are 4pm these days). Rooms are pretty small as expected, but when my wife went into the bathroom she noticed the sink and toilet had not been thoroughly cleaned. We called guest services to have someone come by to do some quick cleaning (hair particles still on vanity), but no one ever showed or called. We had already used bathroom and more or less cleaned ourselves. (I take one star off for this). Pool and hot tub area is very nice. Pool was very good temp. Plenty of pool towels were available. The other negative star I take off, is that the bathroom only would put out hot water from the sink. Both handles were hot water. We filled water bottles up from water cooler in Fitness Center, so didn't really need cold water. But still this was very odd. I let them know upon check out of this plumbing problem. If you get room 458 check the bathroom water. The valet/busmen were very nice and friendly. All in all I would give 2.5 stars due to our specific experiences. If it weren't for the race I did, probably wouldn't have stayed, but if you are looking for place right on Santana Row, this is very good location.

Liked they let me check in a bit earlier. Didn't like that certain things weren't working. Like the TV, Iron, and Iron Board to name a few.
