Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City

Pretty good. I didn’t know where to get water, and the TV had no source.

We chose this hotel during Covid times for the national brand reputation. Upon check-in, the clerk was not wearing a mask. Completely unacceptable during Covid.

I generally stay at Hiltons because the service and conditions of the hotels are good. This was a disappointing experience, as there was no hot water for the shower, the coffee and condiments in the room were not stocked, and the blankets were stained. The service counter mentioned that I was not the only one to mention no hot water.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Road construction made for some interesting navigating to get in and out, but overall a decent location. Beds were not the most comfortable and extra blankets in the room would have been helpful as the comforter didn't quite fit the bed. AC unit was LOUD and room temperature was either too cold or too warm.

No hot water, changed rooms, did not change the hot water issue. fitted sheets to small for bed.

We chose this hotel on a last minute decision even though it had mixed reviews. There was a gentleman at the front desk working on a problem, he was a little short with the other lady working the desk (Leslie) I believe, and a little short with us, but she was very apologetic and got us checked in around 8:30 at night on 9/20/20. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. I would definitely stay again and recommend that hotel to anyone. Price was spectacular for all the amenities. Total cost was 104.00😊
