Windtower Lodge and Suites

Great property. Signs in room say wait 6 hours for floor heat, not working. Electric fireplace worked, but had to turn off and on manually throughout stay, freeze or sweat if you don’t. Generally they don’t care. Exit signs dangling by a wire. No coffee in rooms,they had tea and decaf, how hard to go get coffe at grocery store. Too bad, great property poor management.

It was a great place to stay. The room was pretty warm, even though it was October in Canada, but they had a fan and we opened the window for the night. We will definitely stay again.

The location is excellent although some areas of the property are a little outdated. Everything is clean and tidy, and for the price point it'd be hard to do better!

The room was equipped with all modern equipment, however the thermostats did not control the temperature so it was 25° regardless of what we set. The renovations seemed so rushed Dents on the window sills from installation, a paint stain on the floor. Just cosmetic errors. The booking site does not list dog friendly, and the hotel webpage is out of date. Not all the additional stuff like the hot tubs or resturaunt are open. Would recommend calling to confirm what room you would be set up in as we had Hi way 1 outside our window droneing throughout the night as we had to leave our windows open all night.

I needed a place to rest my head before a 4am wake-up call, so didn't want to spend a fortune. The Windtower fit that bill nicely. There was some noise transfer, the room was just ok, and the bed wasn't all that comfortable - but you get what you pay for.

The property was clean and ideal for a night’s stay. Room was small but had everything I needed. The guests upstairs were very loud and unfortunately there was no staff at front desk to bring this up with. Overall, I liked the property.

The room was small,nice and clean. The door would not open easily , sometimes one needs to try 10+ times. Definitely an issue with those cards that were all laying over the receptionists desk . 2 people ahead of me were offered free parking while I was asked to pay for it. Difficult to find parking in the area. The building is shared with residents who live there permanently.

The room was nice and cozy but the king size bed was sagging badly and was propped up by a 2x4 leg. Other than that it was a great stay

Very nice, clean and quiet. Loved the deck. Underground parking was bonus.

Hotels.com said check in time was 3:00. We arrived at 3:45 and were told our room was not ready. We stood and waited for 30minutes for our room to be cleaned. Once the room was ready it was clear cleaning had been rushed (holes in bedding, missing glasses and cups etc). Many other places in town better than Wind Tower for the same price.
