Mountain Thunder Lodge

Staff very friendly and supportive, however we had lots of issues with the hotel. Our bathtub was clogged, we asked for maintenance but little was done, so we had to shower for 5 days like that. The sofa bed was awful, very uncomfortable and impossible to sleep in. There was no resolution to this issue even after many complaints, so we ended up putting the mattress directly on the floor. The swimming pool is across the street, there are no robes available by the hotel, so we had to cross the street completely freezing. We stayed for 5 days, no housekeeping was done, even though there was a signed saying it happens after 3 days. So our towels and sheets were never changed, not even the trash was removed. The location of the hotel was good though. Not sure if this is enough for us coming back.

Lovely getaway

We had a great vacation. It’s a perfect location yo walk yo gondola and Main Street. Short drive up to the Nordic Center. Having the kitchenette was very nice! The Murphy bed was very soft. Too soft for us! Highly recommend this place!

This was a very nice property. The room was spacious and clean. Location was good and the shuttle was convenient. I didn’t visit the pool area but wish the property had a restaurant available. Overall excellent experience.

So much fun.

We had a great time at the Mountain Thunder Lodge! We had a 1-bedroom condo that was a perfect size for us. The hot tub was a great touch, right outside the door, when the snow was blowing. There is also ski storage, a free heated parking garage, and an easy shuttle everywhere you'd want to go. The front desk staff was very friendly. There is no on-site dining and few delivery options, but they do have snacks (popcorn, candy, muffins, oatmeal, pop tarts, drinks) for sale at the front desk. They also had a selection of games you could take to your room to play, which was nice after a day outside.
