Holiday Inn Lafayette-City Centre

The service was really great and I have no complaints about my stay.

Booked presidential suite, was told via website rooms were unoccupied for 24 hours prior to bookings. Arrived at 2:45 (check in is at 2) and was told room had not been cleaned yet from prior occupant the night before. Waited for half an hour to get into room which was fine, but then got to room and bedsheets had stains on them. Asked front desk to change them while we were at dinner, they were not changed. I have stayed here before (yes during COVID) a few times and had none of these issues so I’m not sure what’s happened here. I paid a premium for a better room and expected a little more this time, but was completely let down.

First of all this hotel was recently remodeled and it looks nice. However, it is pretty clear they this hotel is experiencing some housekeeping service issues. The room was dirty with the ice bucket, coffee maker and tub containing some pretty nasty stuff. Also it took THREE calls to get towels delivered and we never did receive extra blankets that we ordered, it was as if requests were just discarded. This could be a nice hotel if they fix their service issues.

Check in at 2. Arrived at 3:15 and rooms not ready, had to wait half hour for them to clean. Leftover McDonald's left in fridge. No trash can. Only sheets on bed no blanket. Pool closed but didnt say anything on website, no breakfast. Still charged for these accommodations but can't use them.

Restroom was not clean. Shower curtain mildewed. Not enough cover on beds. No microwave in room. Terribly stocked amenities store and overpriced ($3 for tiny bag of Cheetos)

We took our family dog to Purdue Animal Hospital. Our stay here was very enjoyable considering our situation. The staff were courteous and kind. Will definitely stay here again.

Arrived at hotel at 9pm after 12 hours of driving...there was many ppl in the lobby. When I went to desk they said that there are no rooms ready yet and I was way down on the list waiting for a clean room. I was told Holiday Inn furloughed cleaning staff so they couldn't get the rooms cleaned in a timely manner. The front desk person said that they would be "willing" to give me free cancellation but I should find another hotel room somewhere else!!!!

Friendly staff, excellent customer service

When given our room we walked in to the room not having been cleaned. The bed was a mess and the keys still on the counter. We went back down to get a new room. We go to the second room a few doors down and there is a huge stain on the bedding in plain sight and the bathroom vent screeched LOUDLY the entire time the light was on. We went back down and were moved to a third room. The beds appeared to be clean. When my daughter pulled back the top cover to lay down there were two large (not old) coffee spots on the sheet. I called down and the lady at the desk said she would come up and change out the sheets, which she did, to another sheet that was stained. It was disgusting. We won’t be back. There was zero compensation, just apologies and a free snack.
