Staff was wonderful

Front desk charged me extra fees that were not valid. Alarm in the middle of the night "there's emergency in the hotel leave the hotel immediately". When everybody exited the building we were told it was a false alarm. Room was freezing; thermostat did not work.

Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and great service! The breakfast brunch was especially wonderful with fresh juices available as well as custom omelets and many food varieties! Try and get it included with your room. Also the lower beach bar playing Reggae music had a such a great vibe with swings for bar seats and an incredible ocean view not to mention great drinks and tacos !

I enjoyed my stay at the Marriott in Cancun. My oceanfront room with patio provided gorgeous views and a reprieve during some rain showers. Everyone from the concierge to the front desk went out of their way to give the best customer service possible. The property kept everything sanitized and I felt very safe. The huge spa with oven views was heavenly. When my toilet experienced an issue an engineer came within 15 minutes and the problem was fixed in under a minute.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that I did not have the option to view television in English. I had my daughter with me (we are from the United States), and she was not able to understand the cartoons. The food was really good, and we definitely plan to return.

Amazing hotel. Staff was so nice and accommodating. During Covid, not one staff member was without a mask. The food at the hotel and pool bar was delicious. Get the inclusive breakfast, its a great deal. Specify a beach view room if that's important to you. But the bay view room was great for the afternoon sun. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. If you're on the fence for safety, I would say go for it at this Marriott. Use CARM for the hotel transfer. We will definitely be back.

Over exceeded our expectations!! Amazing property quiet beautiful hotel. Lido Beach Club was simply amazing. A pocket of paradise, healthy room, good cocktails, amazing generous staff. Low key but well kept hotel. Would stay again.
