Hotel Ansgar

Very centrale located. Great breakfast buffet.

The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. The room decor was a little tired but otherwise very pleased overall.

Excellent location. Half the block away from a metro station . 1 block from the Copenhagen central station. Breakfast was excellent and very reasonable priced. Front desk personal was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean , small but that is common in European hotels .

Hotel Ansgar was fantastic! The room was small but very cosy and everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel was the location! It only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the main train station, Tivoli Gardens and plenty of restaurants and shops so it’s perfect for seeing the city! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Copenhagen.

Excellent location to Tivoli and central station and easy check-in. We turned up before 2pm to leave our bags and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready, which was great! Cleanliness was overall good, however used contact lenses had been left on bedside cabinet from previous guests. Our room was first floor at the front of the hotel which was great but unfortunately the property next door right next to our window was being renovated, with work and loud drilling starting at 7am.

Although the room was very small (typical of European hotel rooms), we enjoyed our time at the Hotel Ansgar. Wonderful breakfast (extra charge) and very helpful staff. We had one light bulb out in our room and it was fixed very quickly. This hotel was recommended by friends who stayed here in 2012. Great location as well.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Copenhagen is Hotel Ansgar and yet it is conveniently positioned next to Metro ,Railway, Tivoli and shopping. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Ansgar.

It was centrally situated 5/6 minutes walk from Central Station, Tivoli Gardens and main square, plenty of places to eat not too far to walk and a couple of good bars/pubs The Old English Pub and Rosie Malones next to each other. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of variety and staff helpful. I would deffinately book it again

Stairs to elevator on each floor. Terrible plastic cups for coffee. China cups available in lobby! Request for additional towels for all four days needed to be requested twice daily. Good location near central station - tired rooms and property.
