Great room for the price!

Older motel but decent. Just right for what I needed. Condition of the room was good, nice bed, good TV. Area was quiet. Great room for the price!

Small town cute.

This place is small town atmosphere. I have stayed here before and this was a return visit. I feel safe and secure with me and my family while traveling. My children are loud and fun! They needed to get outside away from big city life and this place allows us to do so affordably. It was really close to the Railroad museum and allowed for us to social distance and still have fun!

Magnuson Hotel Ely

The room was comfortable but small. Fitting a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dresser with old-style TV, table and two chairs into the space, along with the bed and side tables, was a little confining. The table was overdue for replacement. The desk clerk was cheerful and helpful. A good place for an overnight stay.

Old Food left from the last guess during COVID

During these Covid times, I expected things to be clean. Imagine our surprise when we open the refrigerator at 4:00 in the morning and see 4 leftover containers of food from the guess before us. What else did they not clean.

Motel not Hotel

This is not a hotel, it is a motor motel. After a bit of a rush hour the outside noise was minimal. The price was good for a one night stop over and the room was clean. The ice machine was out of order and the internet did not work after a couple of hours and too late to get help, due to the office being closed. At least we could park our car in front of our room.

Cute safe affordable place to rest and play in Ely

This hotel was a great place to stay. I loved that it was 1 level and nobody was above us or below us. The room had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our time in Ely. The room I had was not the handicap accessible room yet it did have the accommodations such as hand rails in the bathtub and no stairs since it is 1 level. Easy access parking in front of the room to make loading and unloading of bags easier. Felt safe and relaxing. Family friendly and pet friendly as well as disability friendly. It was close by the historic houses and we stopped at the Charcoal Ovens.

Clean & Comfortable Room!

Clean, quiet and comfortable room! Perfect location for activities around town as well as a day trip to Great Basin National Park. We liked the take away breakfast options. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was ok

The staff was terrible. They didnt come and tidy up the room or give us new towels. We could never seem to be in the right place to talk to someone... couldnt find someone for check out so just left the keys... The room was clean but they really need to work on the staff...
