Don't stay here!

I booked a 2-queen bed room but got a king bed with sofa sleeper. When I told them this isn’t not what I booked I was told the hotel was over booked so they moved me to the king room. Really? Room was not comfortable the carpet is old and coming up in places. There were parties going on all around us. Called front desk numerous times for loud music, people outside on the balcony talking loud and drinking. Just wanted to sleep! Parties started about 11 ended about 5:30 am.

Poorly managed

Guaranteed check in time at this hotel is 3pm. I arrived at 330pm and was told my room was not ready. There was another couple that was told the same thing. I was told to come back in 30 minutes and my room should be ready. I asked that the front desk clerk not give my room away and she confirmed that she would not. I left to get gas and returned in exactly 30 minutes to find 4 people in line ahead of me. The same front desk clerk was handing out keys to rooms to the people ahead of me. These were people that had just walked in to check in, not people who had been there before as I was. When I got to the front of the line, the front desk clerk again said she did not have a room ready for me. I asked about her not giving my room away and she said "sorry about that". I had to wait another 10-15 minutes for my room. It is now 430pm when I get my room. She said because of Valentine's day they booked solid and had insufficient help to get the rooms cleaned in time. I asked for a manager and was told there was none on site. So, they are booked solid for the next four days, have insufficient help and no managers on site. How poorly can you run a hotel? If I check out of my room late, they would charge me, so I think it is only fair that they give me compensation for getting ready my room late, but no, they refuse to do that and tell me to contact Hotels.com for compensation. We will see what Hotels.com says

Not accurate pics of the rooms posted

The overall stay was excellent hotels.com or the hotel do not show the appropriate pictures with the rooms so on top of my total charge I was charged 20 to upgrade to the room that was clearly depicted on the site

Stayed here for the night great room and very comfortable. We’ve stayed here before and we’ll surely stay here again.

Disappointed

The positive reviews and photos of this hotel are deceiving. The hotel was not very clean- there were black hairs all over the shower walls, lots of dog poop in the parking lot. We stayed 2 nights and after the first night our room keys got deactivated. Breakfast was grab and go, which is fine, but we were told there was a hot and cold option and were only offered the cold option both mornings. There were people loitering and drinking in the parking lot both nights when we returned to our hotel for the evening. Shower water fluctuated between burning hot and freezing cold about every 2 minutes. We also had issues with the Direct TV. Worst hotel we have stayed at, and we have stayed in some dirt cheap hotels. Only redeeming quality is that the workers were all very friendly.

The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great with shopping in walking and driving distance.
