Omni Cancun Hotel and Villas All Inclusive

Trip to Cancun and our stay at the Omni Cancun was nothing short of fabulous! The room was spotless and the dining areas as well. This was my second visit this year and again the pool entertainment was relaxing and fun. Manuel, at the pool bar was very attentive and friendly. He made the best White Russian drinks! We again enjoyed karaoke night and volleyball on the beach and in the pool. All of the staff were highly attentive ad the resort is beautiful. I will be returning soon!

Our stay was amazing based on the price that we paid. The staff was amazing, the service folks were beyond polite and accommodating, and if any issue arose, they did a good job solving it. The view was priceless and the beach breath taking. The restaurant Manager on Duty, Fernando, was a super man. We had a group of 26 people and he was able to get us seating every night. Overall we are happy with the experience. My only complain is for Travelocity for not communicating clearly the condition of the hotel due to some recent hurricanes and the COVID. Some of the restaurants were closed, these were the important ones, such as Brazilian Steakhouse. Travelocity needs to do a better job setting proper expectations so the hotel doesn't get bad review.

The hotel is a bit dated. The staff is great though. Plus I like that it is not a kid friendly hotel

El servicio del hotel fue muy bueno como en todos los hoteles de Mexico. La comida estaba horrible y no tenian mucha variedad. Muy poco personal sirviendo comida por el Covid y se pierde mucho tiempo en las filas. Las camas son súper incómodas y duras. La piscina en el área de la playa estaba vacia y el jacuzzi por igual. Esas fueron las razones por la que escogimos este hotel y en ningun momento lo mencionaron ni dice online. No recomiendo este hotel en lo absoluto.

My first time traveling with the Family and staying at the Omni. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. My overall experience was great, staff was great, the ocean view room is awesome, and a great variety of food to choose from. Big shout out to the entertainment team; Monse, Tony, Chocolate, and team. Every day was a good day thanks to them. Lastly, big shout out to the bar tender at the pool bar, Jorge Maya. Excellent service and always super friendly.

Overall we were disappointed with our stay. The rooms were worn and had nearly no insulation in between rooms or hallway and that made the rooms very noisy from the neighbors. The pools were cold and the hot tub was broken during our stay and very little to no hotel entertainment. The so called buffet was terrible. For the most part it was not worth eating and we were forced to leave the resort for food. Some of the lunches were alright but much of the food was still just reheated or frozen food. There is one restaurant that was good but it required at least 24 hour reservation ahead of time and only has limited seating. The location was convenient to other activities and the beach was nice. Other all inclusive resorts we have stayed at make it a great place to relax and enjoy yourself without going out much but the Omni seems to want to push you out the door.
