Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston - Memorial Park Area

My only complaint would be I couldn’t reach the front desk when I called.

I only stayed one night, however, it was quiet, comfortable and fairly priced for rooms in that area. Only negative; the free breakfast was all pre-packaged food (probably due to COVID). Positive; the room had a small refrigerator and microwave which came in handy.

Our water was very cold and we didn’t understand what was going on with that all....

Dax at the front desk was amazing and the whole crew was very friendly. This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. I will book here again

When I booked the room i chose the king bed option and i asked to be placed where i could have a view of my car from the front desk gentleman. He put me on the 7th floor and i informed him that i was not able to see my car so he moved me to the 5th floor suite and told me that i would not be charged extra. My card was charged the price for a suite anyways and the gentleman said that he would inform management so they could fix this issue. I contacted the hotel 2 days after checkout to confirm that management was contacted and found out that they were not. It has now been 4 days and i have not been contacted by anyone at this hotel. I am disappointed in the service here and will be filing a complaint if this issue is not settled soon. On the good side, the gentleman that assisted me was very kind and was just trying to help but i do not appreciate my card being charged extra when i was informed of the opposite information.

I got a room with Two Queen Beds Nonsmoking. the room was smelling very bad and because my room was on the front side of the hotel I was hearing all the noise from the road because the hotel is next to the freeway .i asked them to change my room because of the smell and they did it.next room was smelling too,free breakfast was on my room.i added some photos so you can see what they provide as a breakfast.no bread or egg or hot breakfast.no jam or butter or cheese just 1 small burger and some fruits. i won't go again and i don't recommend it to anyone.

The staff and the facility served our needs perfectly. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient

All was great even with the mask wearing during COVID. I’ve stayed here before and I will always stay here again!

Everything was clean and signs explaining extra precautions, even had a disposable TV remote.
