Holiday Inn Express Sarasota East - I-75

Great. Hotel clerk was especially helpful with finding a place for our rather long tandem bike.

Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. I like the door on the bedrooms for extra long stay. We didnt have to go to bed if one of us wanted to watch tv in the living room. Hall was very loud and other people slamming their doors woke me up every morning. Downloaded the Fan app and eliminated that problem on day two. Overall close to beaches and restaurants.

Price was great. Rooms were comfortable but could be cleaner. Front desk staff could try a little harder to help guests.

First of all there is a raccoon problem on site which makes it uncomfortable coming and going at night time that definitely needs to be addressed. Second the room door needs to be fixed it’s not shutting properly which allowed for the room door to be left open all day after the maid left from cleaning up with all of our belongings in the room unattended. Third the heater did not work in the room granted I know where in Florida and it doesn’t get cold much but these couple of days were the exception.

Killed a big roach in room 101. They moved us to room 303. Found an alive baby roach in the bathroom. It was a terrible night to experience. Staff refused to make any compensation.

I booked my room for 6 nights. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom that overtook the entire room. I bought 2 cans of Lysol spray to combat the foul odor ..I checked out of my room 2 days early and went to a different hotel to finish my stay. I’ve been a loyal holiday inn express client at tgst location. Hopefully they can earn my trust back again to stay there in the future ..

The room looked cleaned but when we lift the comforter saw stains on the it. It was so bad. Apparently they don’t change the comforters after every guest. The microwave was filthy in the new room. AC was so loud and you can see the dust in the filters. They changed our room yes but new one wasn’t any better then the other.

wi fi was dial up slow. Disaster for business travelers. Avoid like he plague

Good experience. Clean. With covid had to bring towels to lobby and bring back to room. Bit of a nuisance. But understood. Employees were very polite and new there jobs.
