The website mentions 5 star hotel. This was far from it. There were bugs in our room on arrival. Only one restaurant was open during our stay (advertised 3) and the small menu did not change between meals or days. We ended up leaving the resort to eat several times. Very few people there and many sections of the resort were closed, so it felt like a ghost town. I know much of this may be due to covid but it was still lacking in just about every category. Even the music playing throughout the resort was repetitive. We knew every song by the end of our 3 night stay (about 12 songs total). Only real positive was the friendliness of the staff...

The property is nice, it needs to be maintained better due to the closures, they should clearly state that all restaurants and bars are completely closed at the moment, the staff is very friendly and helpful

A Resort Away From The Crowds

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice game room and away from the crowds. Walking distance to mini-marts, money changers, restaurants and other shops. Beach was disappointing, kinda small area to swim and the sea sports were very expensive.

Gotta say for the price and all it was a great stay. Clean & comfortable. I had an issue with the first room, the bed was two doubles pushed together. We didn’t notice at first but my wife pointed it out. When we laid on it the split was right in the center. Told hotel management and they were so nice that they changed our room for us right away. We even got one closer to the beach view. I would say if you’re a younger couple its a little dead if your trying to make tons of friends and party hard. But we still met some nice older couples to just generally talk to. I’d say do excursions off expedia and hit kuta beach and seminyak beach for sunsets and dinner at least once. Also here night life is good around there. I’d loved this resort. Has little shop incase you didnt pack the right bathing suit or need something. There is a convenient store right outside and money exchange not too far. Would recommend to anyone. Great area to swim and there’s water activities too. Thanks Sol! Miss ya!

I went with a negative attitude after feeling that I had been conned by the All Inclusive advertising apparently we were only entitled to a free breakfast but.......The staff at Sol are very helpful and very friendly, everything is kept in good order, the gardens are excellent, the breakfast selection and quality are second to none the hotel is quite quirky but overall excellent. Nusa Dua doesn't have a public transport system so if you don't hire a vehicle it's all down to Taxis which will be expensive over a few days.

My stay was exceptionally pleasant. The facilities and beaches were outstanding. The staff were welcoming smiling faces from check in to departure. Special thanks to receptionist Kadek Eka Putra. Kind of experience only found in Bali.
