Windsor Florida Hotel

So good I stayed an extra week

It was a great stay. The staff went out of their way to make it a memorable one. Breakfast was served in my room without any extra charge giving me a chance to relax and sleep in every morning, and they cater to my dietary needs at the restaurant so I didn’t have to leave the hotel for a special meal. I ended up adding 9 extra nights to my vacation.

Bizarre soap and shampoo dispensers!

Standard rooms face inwards and superior rooms face outwards but they vary in size by an incredible amount. Our first room, 322, was really small with a tiny bathroom. The bext day we were given 324 which was at least 50% larger and more comfortable. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were ridiculous, the likes of which Ive never seen before. They were huge and protruded into the shower. It was difficult to avoid banging into them. I feel this was a safety issue. The breakfast was average and did not change for the six days we were there.

Great place to stay

Smaller room this time, but was very comfortable. I loved the ability to block the light out of the window.

Limpeza do quarto e restaurante excelentes. O que não foi legal: Barulho no quarto vindos tanto de hóspedes passando pelo corredor entre os quartos, quanto por parte do pessoal da limpeza.

Hotel is in a good location.. Wifi only works in the lobby or restaurant. Beds and pillows are of very low quality!

I would rate this hotel a 9.0!!!

The hotel was great. I love the breakfast in good hotels in Brazil, it's really awesome, lots of options of fruits, juices, pastries and so on. The guys in the reception were very kind and treated me and my family very well. The location is good as it's close to the Sugar Loaf, Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer. The rooms were clean and tidy. The bed and mattresses were pretty comfortable too. The only 2 things I didn't like were: 1) Check in and check out process is still very bureaucratic and takes too long to complete. I understand this could be due to local regulations but the amount of paperwork, photocopies of documents and time it takes is ridiculous. 2) the shower didn't seem to have enough water or water pressure on the 8th floor.

With the security around, we felt secure in the hotel. We got disappointed that the breakfast was not included. I must have missed to check it. The rooms was narrow and noisy, but clean. It was noisy because it was close to the elevator. Although the room was a little small, were comfortable and the bathroom was well serviced. Location was near restaurants, shopping and close to the metro. In general, looked well run and neat and tidy. Plenty of staff available at all times to give you a hand.
