Hotel American Palace Eur

We arrived at the hotel around 2 in the morning, unfortunately our flight was very late. So no other clients should have arrived after us, the Hotel was not full at all, but they assigned us a room at second floor facing the street, and despite the double glazed windows, we couldn't sleep properly due to the noise from the street. Breakfast was quite good, staff a bit in difficulty because not enough ( just 3 people ). Tube station Laurentina is just 500 metres far and very convenient to reach the city center.

It was great for what I needed and the breakfast was good too

Modernized, close to metro and bus station (centre easy and cheap to reach). No wardrobe, lod doors, very small fitness centre, always the same menu, very little good restaurants and shops in vicinity.

Hotel is located across the street from Laurentina metro stop. It is also located outside Rome City Center closer to the aiport, so taxis were less expensive by Euro 8-10 when on the meter rather than using the standard Euro 48 fare for airport transfers to/from airport

Really liked the location of the property, and the free breakfast however they should change their items more often it was same thing over and over

There was no coffee maker in the room, no bath room shoes and no conditioner

Pros: closeness to Metro; fruit and veggie stand; pharmacy, and cafe/restaurants. Breakfast very tasty. Although on a busy boulevard, very quiet at night. Enjoyable stay.

A good place to stay if you need to stay in EUR. Front desk was helpful abd the place was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.

The hotel is about 7 miles southwest of the main parts of the city. But it is a short walk of 5 minutes to cross the street to get to the subway. $1.50 and 20 minutes and you are at the Colossum. The hotel was recently remodeled and is very modern. The room is large and bed comfortable. The negative is that their is no place to open our bags except on the floor. No shelf space or drawers to put your clothes even though the room is large enough. Although it calls its self "American Place" it is not American oriented. No coffee provided, and you can go next door and buy some. No night light in the very dark bathroom. And on hot October days, they turned off the air-conditioner. They said they do this the first week in October, so open the window (without screens).

Great hotel, a little outside the city but right on the main road. Clean lobby, (relatively spacious rooms) and clean all through! Parking available around back in gated area which was great. The one day it was full we had to park in the basement which is NOT easy to get into.
