Fenix Hotel

I will start with the Positive. We liked that the property was in a quiet area away from the noise and crowds of Rome. The Breakfast was a 10/10. The Metro (subway) was a little further walk than expected - but very manageable. Now the Negative - NOT a 4 star hotel - rating the hotel at 2.5 would be closer to reality we were in room 405, the shower tile was partly missing in certain areas, mold/mildew in the shower area. The mattress was the worst mattress we have ever slept on. The pillows were so bad that we ended up using our own neck pillows we brought for the plane ride. It was doable as we are not 5 star resort type people - but after we stayed in 3 other accommodations with a similar 4 star review - it was clear as day this was 2.5 stars at best.

Four days in Rome and this hotel is in a perfect location.room and bed and pillows very comfy. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and our room each day cleaned very well, will recommend and next time in Rome will stay here

Older property, a bit worn out, but clean and I had a nice room. Not in the centre of Rome - around a 10 min walk to the nearest metro stop.

We arrived much later than planned as flight very delayed. Welcome from front desk was average. The room I stayed in was ok, nice crisp linen. The bathroom was very tiny & very tired. I was charged €4 for a bottle of water that came from kitchen not my mini bar. Totally overpriced for a guess of hotel. Breakfast was average. No catering for vegan( someone travelling with me). No iron was available in room so asked at reception but was told none available. Wanted to charge me €5 to iron a T-shirt.

Nice, cozy hotel with spacious rooms. A little off the beaten path and far from touristy areas. Public transit not easy to navigate, as buses and trains don't run on time.

Too far from the centre to walk, but very close to wonderful restaurants and cafes, so no need to go far in the evenings. The rooms are a little tired now, and could do with an investment, but were all clean, and the air-con worked wonderfully! Breakfast was really good, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful few days here. Thank you to all the staff!

I want two single bed but sold out others good There’s garden and cozy bathroom

I felt the staff couldn’t do enough the hotel in general was clean and well presented lovely breakfast spread. Bad points I felt the bathroom could do with a bit of tlc
