Flamingo Motel

The pictures on the site does not match the actual motel. I am not sure how long ago but this place was dirty. Not to mention a ton of loud and rude guest. Someone decided to blast music at 6am. We were on our balcony and got told, rudely, to turn the music off and I was the one who called. Front staff was nice, but didn’t even have fresh coffee or cream. We highly disappointed. We had to CLEAN the room before we could even stay the night. If it wasn’t a holiday weekend, I would have requested my money back and stayed somewhere else. Not enough towels and bedding for the room. And the kitchen was a microwave and mini fridge without freezer.

This place is disgusting furniture is broken , bathroom curtain is broken, is dirty is stinks. I asked for a refund but I won’t get it but I’m still sleeping in my car tonight. I won’t stay in this room I might catch something. Don’t stay here!

Girls getaway

Girls weekend trip. Was first given a different room than originally booked. Then was transferred to room actually paid for. Strong odor in the hallways. Tower 1 was clean. Air conditioner very loud. Bed was comfortable. Good location to the beach. No breakfast options. Definitely an older style motel. Staff very friendly. Price about average for the area.

Pool is not what it seems

Our stay was a good one; we were only there for 2 days.They even upgraded our room with a kitchenette. My only issue especially was the outdoor pool, especially with the pandemic still on the rise. I chose the Flamingo because the pool in the photo seemed large and spacious thus allowing the 6 feet social distance however when we got there the pool was definitely not the size as displayed in the pic.

For the price on hotels. Com wasnt too bad. Hotel has smell of mold. My room had holes everywhere. The beds werent that comfortable. The pools were great close to beach not too far from boardwalk

This is definitely not a fancy place but when your kids decide last minute that they need more ocean time, it was perfect as a last minute thing. It was clean. Beds slept well after a Long Beach day. We could see the ocean and walk there in a minute from room. The ladies at the front desk were sweet as can be. Gave great food recommendations. We would totally stay again.

The staff at this property were extremely nice and helpful! The rooms however were supposed to be all smoke free and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. There was black mold in the bottom of the trash can when we went to change out the bag. The bedding also smelled like smoke. There was water coming in under the sliding door while it was raining. And no one ever got our towels and brought new ones. The hotel is conveniently right next to a beach entrance and the pools there were nice.

Big family beach experience

Parents and 4 young kids in one room. Worked out well for three nights. Right off the beach and a few blocks from the end of the boardwalk. Great experience for the family.
