Hyatt Place Daytona Beach - Oceanfront

Excellent Hotel! I do a ton of research before booking. The Hyatt Place is outstanding. The rooms are clean, breakfast was buffet (to our surprise), pool & hot tub are wonderful. The only complaint I would have is the length of time it took towels to get delivered to the room. I would stay again.

I thought Olny or Only (not quite sure of his name) was outstanding the evening we checked in. He was handling everything by himself like a Champ. I was very disappointed by the lack of house keeping. The morning of checkout, the dude at the front desk was less than helpful or friendly, and barely looked up from what he was reading when I was speaking to him. Overall, I was pleased with my stay, but not blown away. This is the second time this year we have stayed here, and would probably do so again, but not without shopping competition first.

Beautiful hotel right on beach. Limited services due to Covid-19 but staff very accommodating.

This time I was quite disappointed. There wasn’t linen in the room, heat didn’t work and it was cold. They’re ice machines weren’t working on any floor. I called the front desk and they said go to the next floor. I went to 9,8,7 and so on, no ice. I had to go to the lobby. The next day this lady from the hotel was walking around with a kind of check off looking list. I let her know about the ice machines and she said they are trying to get the parts. I said, Since May?” Within an hour all the machines were working.

Not very accommodating when asking for 30 minutes on a late check out

Very nice place for the price. Came during Chirstmas and it was cold but both of their pools were heated, actually saw people swimming when it was 30-40 deg. outside! I didnt like that were was a Quarter wall separater between the bed and the couch area/balcony. I was not able to see the ocean from my bed. If I was laying on my pillow, I assume its to block the sun from hitting your eyes, but thats what the curtains are for! I"m here for the views! Overall very nice hotel, during COVID times, cold breakfast was still offered. For the price and my overall experience 8.8/10

It was a great stay. During COVID some things weren’t available but I expected that. Staff and other guests were nice! Loved the location!

It was quiet and the view was great. My wife noticed a hole at the bottom of the shower door and wall. Other than that, it was fine.

This waa our first trip tp Daytona Beach. So glad we picked this hotel to stay in. I have to say this was the best sleep we've had in awhile. Very quiet & the bed was SO comfortable.

Clean and friendly accommodations. Great location!
