Yes! I Would Stay Again!

Sometimes you don't want to say to many good things so when you book again, the rates are the same! Although the hotel itself has been around a very long time, you wouldn't think so driving up and walking in. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, The rooms are small but very comfortable. Great views, great service, great location! I would definitely stay again!

The location is amazing, the pool is great (when open - they will close it for private events, so watch out if you are hoping to swim!), the wifi is good. Service was a little lacking and confusing - no one seemed to be able to consistently tell us if our food and beverage credit was per stay or per day (my spouse and I were told something different as were our friends also staying at this hotel during the same weekend). Valet was not friendly, did not answer the phone when we called to have car brought around. Moreover, we were told valet was the only option - but then we saw guests parking their cars and unloading their own luggage in the hotel parking lot. Valet pricing was also confusing and not consistent (same for room service). The coffeeshop / bar in the lobby was never open for us.

Pretty good with a few hiccups.

Overall pretty good. Service people knocked a couple of times and walked in very quickly after the first knock. And those couple times happen within 15 minutes. I traveled for business I needed an iron which was not to be found in the room when I called to get it delivered it came about an hour later and it was leaking water all over the place and basically did not work well. In the end when I asked how was my overall stay I said mostly good with a few hiccups. Which to that they replied thank you so much. Meaning they weren’t really interested to know how to improve it. It’s worth mentioning that the person ahead of me said their stay was great so they asked him to fill a survey. And when I said a few hiccups they did not ask me to fill out a survey. Again mostly this day was good. It was clean, comfortable, valet was quick and overall pretty good. One last thing I will say that because the hotel is right on the freeway you could hear the traffic. There was a double glass door which blocked most of the sound and personally it did not bother me but some people might find it too noisy.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, good value.

Very helpful friendly staff. Convenient location. Comfortable bed. We wanted extra pillows and got them immediately. Although the room is on the small side (we had a King with a view room) it was very clean and comfortable. Our only negative comments would be: Because to the location you can hear freeway traffic at all hours, and, the toilet flush is super loud so we did not flush it when one of us was asleep. The restaurant on the top floor is nice, casual, friendly, with good food and drink.

This is such a good hotel for so many things I need for an LA stay. Easy to access, comfortable, quiet.

We had an amazing experience! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! The hotel is clean and nice and close to UCLA (45 min walking or 10 min by car).
