Toledo is very amazing city to visit. we just stayed one night. two nights are better. the hotel room is big, clean, good distance to old city center. breakfast is great. Parking is not easy and had to pay.

2 night stay

Two night stay as a stop off on our drive back to France/UK. Pleasant quite traditional style hotel with classic rooms dark and cool. Good breakfast but the hotel has no restaurants and no tea or coffee in rooms and not available at all even from reception. We asked for a cuppa one night and the nice lady receptionist took us through to the restaurant next door to get us two takeaway drinks! Not what we expected. The price was good so it was just an ok stay. About a twenty minute walk into the old town - of you’re going to the Alcazar then prob a taxi is best. Would stay right in the old city next time.

Needs Refurbishment

While appreciating this is an old hotel the standard of furnishings is very poor. At these prices one expects better than old, chipped furnuture and stained upholstery. The staff are very helpful and efficient but we were initially allocated a small dingy room at the back. When I said I had booked a superior room we were moved upstairs to a larger, front facing room. The furnishings however were no better and we had to pay a supplement. The SMART tv was not connected to the Internet which meant we couldnt access English tv. The hotel is also opposite the bull ring where a loud rock concert played the night of our stay. I imagine there will also be noise from bull fights. The breakfast was very good value and the staff work hard but we wouldnt go back.

Good hotel with nice staff

Location is a little out of the way but not much of an issue. Service was excellent and the room was very good. The hotel is in excellent condition though could use a few amenities like a kettle. Breakfast was quite good with numerous choices.

Excellent Place to stay!

The hotel was great. The location was perfect and safe, because I was able to walk everywhere from there, even to the train station. The room was clean, it offered a safe box as well. Toledo is a magical place and I would definitely come back to this hotel, next time I’m in Toledo.

Location was within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. Staff spoke English well. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was not included in our room--cheaper options were found outside the hotel.
