Hampton Inn & Suites Houston - Westchase

This stay was a disaster! It says Hilton. But it sure does not look like it. Cigarette smoke smell in the elevator, the carpet in the room was so badly stained. The room temperature was fluctuating. There was no hot water in the shower. The reception wouldn't answer the phone. There were a couple of roaches in the bathroom. The other adjacent room guest was partying all night long. While booking, it said breakfast included. But it was not, due to Covid. There should have been an indication before hand that there would be breakfast. This booking was a sham. Motel 6 would have done a better job than this Hilton.

Staff needs to be friendly and focus. Room was clean even though I could see stain on the carpet.

Hilton affiliated hotels are always great.

Kept getting phone calls from random people and then 2 times, strangers came and knocked on our door at 2 in the morning. It took 4 calls to the front desk to get someone to come up and look around the halls. Very scary and disturbing.

Curtains are not able to cover the outside lights. Dirty restroom.

Stained and dirty hallway carpets, worn out hallway wall, needs touch up painting and carpet shampooing throughout property. The room was clean. The TV is too small for the room. The pool and hot tub were both closed, and the hot tub is the reason that I chose this hotel over others. The landscaping near the parking places needs trimmed back so that it doesn’t scratch the cars. The AC only cools down to 65 degrees.
