Comfort Inn Carmel By The Sea

Walls to thin could here everything in the other rooms. Not able to sleep, you could here person next door snoring and every step from the rooms above us. So loud, definitely not staying here again

Loved this property! Staff was friendly, room was clean, up to date interior design, and area around hotel was walkable with dining/bars/shopping.

Great location

This hotel is in a perfect location for walking to Ocean Ave in Carmel. It is also about a 15 min walk to the beach. The room was very clean, no wall to wall carpet, and an updated bathroom. The courtyard is very cute and a great place for a cup of coffee. It can be noisy as the walls and door are very thin. The mattress is very firm and the bed linens were not so comfortable according to my preference. I would definitely stay here again though based on the cleanliness and the location.

Quaint Hotel in a great location

This hotel is in a fantastic location and great for exploring the town of Carmel-by-the-sea and surrounding areas. Easy walking distance into the town, and a short drive to Highway 1. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was very efficient. The only slight negative is there can be some noise from other rooms. I think this is just the nature of the older construction which is common in this area, so not much the owners can do about that. That being said, I would still recommend this location and would be happy to stay here again.

This was a pleasant place to stay. Great location, clean and, basic needs. Very cute. Rooms are pretty small but okay for a night or two.

The experience overall was great. Breakfast was more grab and go. Check in was smooth and easy. Everything was within walking distance. Parking was limited but always managed to find a spot. The doors have a cool feature that can open from the top half. Noise level was good at night in the area. The lighting in the room was nice too!
