Super 8 Ripley WV

I don't usually stay at super 8 but due to bad road condition I decided to stay. After reviewing what others said I decided to take a chance. Excellent experience. Room was clean staff friendly and close expressway. Great value.

It was a nice stay. Very clean room, in a safe area, and friendly staff!!

In the area to spend time with family. Traveled to Spencer but they didn't have a reliable hotel so we went back to Ripley. I was very concerned abut staying at Super 8 due to past experience at Super 8 in multiple areas of the state. The area was convenient for food & comfort. It was relativity quiet at the hotel except for some using the vending machines in the corridor. The front desk gentleman was excellent, very professional but helpful; best Super & I've seen in a long time. I would stay there again. Shame other Super 8's are not as nice.

This is your typical "get what you pay for"hotel. Our room was only $68.00. It was an older building but seemed to be well maintained. It was clean, comfortable bed and basically everything you need for an over night stay. We would have liked to have had more than one towel and washrag per person without having to go to front desk to get. Breakfast area was small, actually in the lobby. We didn't eat but it would have been an uncomfortable area to do so. It was cold outside and folks were coming in and out the door, right where breakfast bar was set up, to check in and out. If was a small continental breakfast. We only dealt with one staff member and he was very nice. The hotel is conveniently located in the Ripley WV area. Several nearby restaurants and easy access to the highway.
