Expect the unexpected and expect to be disappointe

It could have been fantastic and I would have wanted to go back for a better look as I was working and missed a lot of the amenities but from the time I got there the experience was terrible…… started with leaving my bags earlier as I couldn’t check in as the room wasn’t ready and the bagels were not taken to my room when I arrived in it at 11.30 that night (only had 13 hours to take them up….. there is no wine glasses in the room you have to use a water glass, then the room was not made up and when I said something the next day they came to make the bed but didn’t do anything else, Ian’s I think the bed was made up by a 9yo!!! Apparently they don’t make up your room unless you ask but they failed to tell us any of that and when you say something they seemed not to care….. when paying nearly $300 a night I would have expected more, or at least been told what to expect.

It’s a great location very flash ! But the pillows are the worst I’ve ever seen had to go buy my own pillows

Beautifully decorated and appointed hotel with lovely modern rooms. Loved the large billiard table and games room. Didn’t use the restaurant but it looks nice. The only negatives are the location in relation to shops and restaurants and the convenience store attached is very expensive.

New hotel with some teething problems.

Very new hotel situated close to venue we were going to. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good view. Room is not large and only has the basics ( no wine glasses, robes ). We were extremely disappointed with the overall cleanliness of our room which we have raised with the hotel and are awaiting a response. We also received inaccurate information about the parking allowances on our checkin. Breakfast was reasonably priced with a good range that was fresh and well presented.

Executive lounge is cold and very limited.

Lift stopping all floors. No goods lift, it’s your chance to meet all the staff from all the sections.

After we waited about 20 mins in line to check in, we went to our room. Also being told that we would receive a free drink card but they ran out (this was never received). The room, when we got up there had not been cleaned. There were dirty coffee cups, towels on the floor cupboards open and the bed unmade. We went straight back downstairs. We ran into the hotel manager in the elevator and let him know. At the lobby there was still a long line. He took us to the front and had our room upgraded. The upgraded room was better, however the bathroom had black hairs all over the floor, dried up wee at the base of the toilet and the mini shampoos and body washes were open and half used. For this we received free parking. I just feel for $309 per night, the room should be cleaned and checked prior to guests checking in. Also the hotel boasted their rooftop bar, not accessible because it’s still under construction. Oh and one last thing, I called reception at least 10 times from each dirty room, it rang out each time so we had to go back down to reception for any questions we had. And room service stops way too early!

Checked in and room was awesome but bedding configuration wrong. Transferred to a larger room but there was still food ledt over in fridge from previous guest. Room cleanliness not up to standard. Very dusty on surfaces.
